Our Story

Our mission is to inspire and empower fiber artists from all backgrounds to creatively thrive.

Kindred Yarn & Fiber is a mother-daughter business, built out of a decades-long passion for all things fiber arts. Beginning in 2005 as a small but mighty 4-H project of Angora fiber goats, Kindred has become a way in which we contribute to keeping the handspinning tradition alive and thriving. We love the fiber arts community, both near and far, that continues to inspire us.

And that’s exactly why we’re called Kindred - because we know that art thrives best with community and connection. You’re welcome at our spinners circle, friend.
